Lobster with Garlic Sauce

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 12–15 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each), fresh or thawed
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
4–6 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, plus wedges for serving
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp paprika (for color and subtle warmth)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Tails: Use kitchen shears to cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pry the shell open and lift the meat out to rest on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base ("piggyback style").
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped parsley, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
Season and Baste: Place the prepared tails on a parchment-lined baking sheet or broiler pan. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
Cook:
Bake: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake for 12–15 minutes until the meat is opaque and firm.
Broil: Set oven to high broil. Place tails 4–6 inches from the heat source and broil for 1 minute per ounce (approx. 5–6 minutes).
Final Touch: Remove from the oven and drizzle with any remaining garlic butter. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
